Capello: Inter and Arsenal Among Champions League Favourites but Guardiola 'May Leave' Man City
Capello gives Champions League predictions and questions Guardiola's future at Manchester City
Italian legend Fabio Capello believes Inter Milan and Arsenal are among the favourites to win this season's Champions League.
The former England manager also suggested that Pep Guardiola may leave Manchester City at the end of the season.
Capello, who won the Champions League with AC Milan in 1994, told Sky Italia:
- "I think Inter and Arsenal are the two teams to beat in this season's Champions League."
- "They both have excellent squads and are playing very well at the moment."
- "Manchester City are also a strong team, but I am not sure if they will be able to win it again this season."
Capello also discussed Guardiola's future at Manchester City, saying:
"I think Guardiola may leave Manchester City at the end of the season."
"He has been there for seven years and has won everything there is to win."
"I think he may be looking for a new challenge."
Guardiola has won four Premier League titles, one FA Cup and four EFL Cups during his time at Manchester City.
However, he has yet to win the Champions League with the club.
Guardiola's contract with Manchester City expires at the end of next season.
It remains to be seen whether he will sign a new deal or leave the club.
